MD Group AS joins Spill Control Association of America (SCAA)
SCAA was founded in 1973 to actively promote the interests of all groups within the spill response community. The organization represents spill response contractors, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, instructors, government & training institutions and corporations working in the industry.

MOS Sweeper development phase III starts, fully supported by NOFO and Innovation Norway.
This phase will lead us to participation in the important Oil-On-Water exercise in June 2012 where we will prove our technology. After a successful exercise we are ready to go commercial with our MOS Sweeper system.

Successful tests at Norwegian Coastal Administration test facilities in Horten.
The tests proved that we can pump collected oil from an oil spill from our sweeper and collector system to the deck of a towing vessel. Pumping rate was near 300 m3/hour.

MD Group signs a Sales and Distribution Agreement with Abasco LLC in Houston.
This will ensure good sales and distribution capabilities in the Americas region. "The agreement represents our first move in the region and we are very pleased to work with Abasco" - says Managing Director Tore Halvorsen in MD Group.

After successfully approved Ice Management Technology in Greenland season 2010 MD Group signs a new contract with Cairn Energy. This year we deliver improved state of the art ice mgmt equipment for 6 vessels in West Greenland.
